Sebastian Gunawan: An Annual Charity Fashion Show

Prominent fashion designer Sebastian Gunawan, also known as Seba, revealed his new collection at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Mulia in Central Jakarta on 3rd September, 2013. The blossoming partnership between Seba and YCAB has been going strong since 2005. Included in all his fashion shows since then – Classic Divine (2005), Rendezvouz (2006), Sweet and Swinging (2007), Femme Fatale (2010),The Reflections of You (2011), and Black Dahlia (2012) – has been an element of support and collaboration with YCAB Foundation.

At the opening of the event, Founder/CEO of YCAB Foundation, Veronica Colondam, receives a symbolic donation from Mr. Viriya Unggul. Donations like this, since 2005, have been active in raising 2.4 billion Rp. Which has been channeled into the education of more than 1,100 underprivileged children, as well helping empower the economy of more than 100 low-income families.

YCAB Foundation Ambassador, Dominique Diyose, was involved in Sebastian Gunawan’s show this year. Entitled “ModMuse”, the show derives its’ title from “modern” and “muse”, translating into a thoroughly “up-to-date” and whimsical presentation. 118 of Seba’s latest looks were on parade, many adopting the gold and silver leitmotif.
